No wins during the regular season, 2 - 2 in the playoffs.  In the worlds eyes this years softball season was a failure.  But not in God's eye's.  Listening to Greg Shank say, "this year was the most fun I've ever had playing softball" sums it all up.  Greg was the coach for our team and as they say everything rises and falls on leadership.  New team members, old team members they all gave it their best and in the end played with a spirit that was defintely pleasing to God.  I have been playing softball a long time and have been coached by some of the best and I (pastor phil) want to reiterate what Greg said, "This was one of the best years of ball that I have ever played.  And I started playing when I was eleven years old."

Thanks Greg and all those who played for Central this year.  As they say "they won't remember whether you won or lost, but they will remember how you played the game."
